30 GPD Pulse feeding injection pump in either 110v or 220v.

These units are useful when the water needs "contact time".

Full house backwashing carbon tank.

The Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System purifies
your water and removes sodium left behind by water softeners.

This well water filtration system is suitable for
households of up to four people. It is a high quality, efficient, durable system
that will provide you with clean, soft water for years to come. Enjoy pure,
fresh water while protecting your home and family from unwanted contaminants.
Chemical Feeder System, this is a 30 GPD
pulse feeding injection pump in either 110v or 220v and comes complete with all
hoses, injection fitting, suction basket, degasser line and a 15 Gallon solution
tank. It can be used to inject soda ash or in severe cases caustic soda to raise
pH and eliminate problems associated with acidic water. You can also use this
same system to inject chlorine to kill harmful and nuisance bacteria. The same
pump can be used to do both in most cases. Please note that for Ecoli and Coliform
bacteria you need 20 to 30 minutes of contact time. To obtain the necessary
contact time, you need 20 gallons of retention for every 1gallon per minute of
flow rate to effectively kill the bacteria.
Chemical Feeder Technical Data:
Retention Tank A retention tank is normally used
to allow contact time between your water and a chemical that is being injected.
It would all depend on what is being injected and why, to determine the size of
retention needed. To make certain that you have enough retention
time with chlorine to kill bacteriums such as e-coli and coliform, you need a
minimum of twenty minutes contact time. To obtain that twenty minutes you need
twenty gallons of retention for every one gallon per minute flow. (To determine
your flow rate, please see item #7 on this page:
Articles / FAQ's For example, if you have six gallons per minute
flow rate, you would need one hundred twenty gallon retention (6 x 20=120)
6 GPM flow x 20 minute retention = 120 gallon retention tank. The tanks
themselves are made of polymer materials and have a seamless, one piece
polyethylene inner shell. They are lightweight and very durable with 1 1/4"
socket connections on the top and bottom. Other sizes are available
here.
10" Carbon Tank A whole house backwashing
carbon filter comes with a 10x54 tank, all digital state of the art control
valve, and 1.5 cubic feet of activated carbon. Carbon filtration is most
commonly used to remove chlorine from water. Carbon is also a very good
filtration media for removing or reducing hundreds of other chemicals and
impurities as well as many tastes and odors. The only maintenance required on
the carbon filter is to change out the carbon once it has reached it's removal
capacity, which averages every five to seven years for a family of four. It is
inexpensive to replace, costing about $150 for 1.5 cubic ft. of GAC. It is a
very economical way to give your family clean, odorless great tasting water.
Please keep in mind that carbon is NOT a substitute for reverse osmosis after a
water softener. Carbon does not remove sodium.
Optional Bypass Valve
30,000 Grain
Capacity On Demand water softener (7138A) includes the mineral tank, 1 cubic
foot of resin, control valve, brine tank, brine well, and brine valve. This unit
regenerates (cleans itself) with "state of the art" 'metered' controls. Which
means it only regenerates as needed, saving you water and salt (or potassium),
as compared to 'timer' models. Usually either once or twice per week, depending
on the quality of water.
Upgrade to a
Deluxe Model for only $100 more. Both standard and deluxe water softener
systems are made with the highest quality, name brand valves and controls. Both
styles of water conditioners are smart enough to only regenerate early in the
morning (or whenever you tell them to).
