For serious in-line sediment removal. Why use so many of those small 10" filters when this one lasts so long? Replacement filters are cheap and last a long time. Easy to install. Heavy duty cartridge housing will last for years and years and the sediment filter (5 micron) is included. 3/4" w/pressure relief. For really tough applications one of the 15 or 30 micron "spin down" or "trapper" filters (shown below) before this filter is a popular application. All packages include the housing unit, initial filter, mounting bracket, filter wrench and mounting hardware." For higher flow rates use the filters below.
Designed to filter particulate matter and dirt from large volumes of water. This cartridge uses centrifugal force to spin particles from the main stream and collects it at the bottom for easy discharge. Trapper filters more volume and requires less flushing. *Minimum flow rate: 1 GPM. Maximum pressure 150 PSI. *8 1/2" long. 3/4" Inlet/Outlet (all other sizes available). *Price includes 1/2" flush valve.
